lots of comings and goings...

Wow, must be a record, more than a week without a posting! lol

Well, I haven't really got that much to report to be honest.

Weekends have been busy with people collecting pups and visitors and flyball and agility training, the usual!

Andy and Sam came to see us on Saturday, thay have taken Eabha with a view to giving her some one-on-one time and training her for flyball. She and Viggo (the terrible twins!) just really needed splitting up so we'll see how she gets on.

Here she is lounging on the sofa after her bath and blowdry (don't get used to this Eabha, I'm pretty sure sofa's are out of bounds in the James' household! lol)

Here's 'Casper' snuggled on the bed in the living room after his bath before he left for his new home on Sunday afternoon too

and Viggo who really could do with a bath!

Sunday morning I took Teal to agility, she was a little star as usual (getting a bit boring now tbh), I was happy with everything she did and we also introduced her to the seesaw. I had anticipated she might be a bit wimpy over this but actually came across the opposite problem...she really doesn't care! Will have to keep her on lead and keep her steady over this for the time being.

Sunday afternoon we set up our new flyball jumps...they are really lovely :) We got them from a guy called Mark Smaldon down in Exeter, they were reasonably priced and delivered quickly so we couldn't be happier. Here they are in my dining room....

And set up in the garden...

(yeh, I know...almost as sad as all the new box pics!)

Paul and Alison came over to train and my cousin Amy was at our house with their little cocker Radley so we did a little bit with her then Amy ran some of my dogs...she's a natural! I was v impressed :) We're going to press gang her into coming to tournaments with us now!! lol

Crufts to look forward to this weekend...am wondering how I'm ever going to get Dazzle and Spark ready in time!! lol

All over for another year...

Had a lovely Christmas although all too short a break as usual. Was working Christmas Eve and am back in work today (boo!!). It has however been a lovely four days, beautiful winter sunshine pefect for dog walking. We were at the beach every day although I completely failed to get any pics (useless I know!). Hazell and Michael came down on Saturday to pick Floyd up, it was lovely to meet Michael's mad Springers (and yes, they are mad...made my cockers look quite tame! lol) and catch up with Hazell and the lovely Jack, River and Scot who came for a family visit too.

Had a little get together at our house on Christmas Eve which was lovely. Trish's eldest daughter Elizabeth brought her guitar and sang a song they had composed about the ’Demon Dogz’ which was just hilarious!! Although not quite as funny as watching my mum trying to play tennis on the Wii after a bottle of Cava (lmao).

Spent Christmas Day with my mum, brother, sister in law and nephews which was really nice. I stayed home on boxing day, walked the dogs and just spent some time at home with them, just totally shattered from the previous week. Spent quite a bit of time just watching Lori's pups; they're growing so fast and so active already!

Spent the weekend packing and measuring up etc for the house move at the end of January...only 5 weekends left...eek!!

p.s. Faith also came in season on Christmas Day...only Faith could time something like that! lol

Rainy Days...

Another wet miserable morning here in Lancashire (sigh) so the pups went out to toilet and came straight back in to play in the kitchen and I thought I'd snap a few pics of them, they're now all around 5 months old...
Eabha

thought she'd help with the dishes...

Viggo, starting to look all grown up now

although I don't think he's quite realised that he can't fit in Squirrel's bed any more (bless him lol)

and it all just seemed to be too much for Orlaith...

she had to have another nap...

Looking forward to the weekend

Have had another busy week (ok, so what's new?!)
Had to miss flyball and agility training this week as we headed down to Oxford on Weds evening to stay with Joy and Becca on the way to taking 'Sherman' (Bond-Lori pup) to Gatwick Airport for his new life in Bermuda on Thursday. Had a nightmare journey down on Weds evening but made it safely and gave the dogs a good run. The pups travelled really well so that was a good sign for the long flight ahead for the 'little' man.

Joy and I travelled down to Gatwick the next day to deliver the pup to the BA World Cargo depot and what a lovely bunch of people they were, 'Sherman' was totally unfazed and excitedly greeted everyone with a wag and a kiss which made it a little easier to say goodbye and leave him with them.

Here he is with his new family on his arrival at Hamilton Airport, now christened 'Scooter'...

Chilled out a bit Thursday afternoon with a bit of shopping and some lunch and a little bit of agility training with Fi and Wren before we drove home. Am v tired this morning after being quite late getting home and having Eabha (sleeping on her own for the first time now Scooter has gone) waking+ me up at 4.30am!! Hopefully she will sleep better tonight as we're away in the caravan for 2 days of flyball at Tabley Game Fair...don't know that I'll be very good company this evening (may end up snoring into my glass of wine!! lol). 6 teams racing again this weekend and Carine paying a flying visit from Belgium to the show tomorrow to meet the dogs and collect her pup from Quinn's litter...another hectic weekend!! Let's hope it's a good one ;)
